If I win it I'm buying every 400Z that's offered for sale in the US. Dont know WTF I'll do with them after that but why not? You know what they say: you only live once, might as well get it over with.

Spooler 01-17-2021 11:32 PM

I can't wait to go out for another drive in the car when I get a warm day. I had some fun a couple of weeks ago. Went through some fast sweeping curves. The car is a dream to drive and I caught myself running really fast in the turns. The handling is real close to where I want it to be.

jchammond 01-18-2021 03:27 AM

Set thermostat on 60* yesterday afternoon & is 56/57 in garage now :yum:
Outside temp is 35, with real feel of 27 :wtf2:

jchammond 01-18-2021 04:04 AM

Got 20’ x 2’ shelf/rack, ran down other side of garage yesterday & started getting chit off the floor
This one only has 8 tires on it & 4 wheels :icon14:
Unsure how strong the OSB is, but what I have left will line between the 2x2 angle iron that I bolted down to L-Brackets
I’m pretty sure I know how to properly install front door seals, the header seal mounts to door & rolls up with it & the side draft seals appear to just slip over the curtain rails :ugh2:
I’ll have that done today as well; moving all that 3” angle iron to the side wad :wtf2:

jchammond 01-18-2021 04:06 AM

Dialed thermostat up to 70* when I checked this morning; I’ll see what difference it makes...as temp will fall a bit more :ugh2:

:hello: Happy MLK Day Folks

God-Speed 01-18-2021 05:58 AM

Good MLK Monday Morning All. Hope you all had a great weekend. 39* to start the day with a high of 70* and 0% chance of rain. That changes tomorrow with a good chance of rain for the rest of the week. We need it to wash out all the cedar pollen. :shakes head: Anyway hope you all have a good Monday. Stay Safe, Stay Positive and Keep Washing Those Hands.

JLarson 01-18-2021 06:20 AM

How's it going friends? Everyone have productive weekends? I wrapped up the 3k maintenance on the Z, plus drained the diff and replaced the fluid in that. Last time was at Rusty's place, around 30k miles ago.

Zingston 01-18-2021 06:25 AM

Morning ya'll! 41 now, heading to 61 later. Off to the gym soon... b/c, you know...fit babes in yoga pants & sports bras (for those that like that kinda thing :ugh:) :tiphat:
Hope you enjoy the holiday!

I'm not sure how that happens. I was in LA Tuesday evening into Wednesday till about noon. The only time I had my mask off was in the hotel room. I had to fill out a form with my name, home address & phone number and certify that I was there on essential travel.

Yeah... getting something decent to eat was difficult. Delivery or carryout only and most of it was over-priced. :icon14:

To be fair, the meal prices were in line with what I would have paid in the restaurant, it was the delivery fees that were outrageous. $20 to deliver a $10 meal? WTF?!?!?!

The challenge was two-fold, 1)find a place that had something I could eat and delivered and 2) the delivery didn't cost more than the meal...

We're going to Ed's funeral tonight. Don't know about Larry's yet. Larry has been sick for a while. Started off as lung cancer, then spread to his brain. :shakes head: Larry was a couple of yrs older then me.

Heading out for a drive. The sun is out and I have a few things to pick up. I will hit some twisty roads while I am at it.
