The rear A/C needs replaced. Found 3 areas on the roof that need repair, $3,000. Spent $9,000 on the motor last year. The kitchen roof vent needs replaced, $600. Just fixed the hot water tank, $120. $800 for a roadside fan belt. Front axle wheel bearing seals, $1,200. $1,200 for a tow. Chit adds up. :shakes head:

Jesus, didn't know it was that bad. Holey Cow.

That’d be great, maybe somewhere like Daytona since it’s central Florida so spooler et al don’t have to travel an extra 3 hrs to get to south Florida.

We could time it to coincide with an hpde track event there so if folks wanted to track their cars they could or go at least spectate...

I would only do solid mounts in a track car or very limited street use car imo.

Also, I’ve always been under the impression that the motor and transmission mounts should always match, ie all solid or all poly etc.

Seb likes the oem but they're over $400 a pair. I can get the Z1 poly for a little over $200 a pair

Omg, it makes owning a boat sound not so bad.

I’m truly sorry you’re taking this $$ hit, I’d be vomiting if I were you right about now.

Th3 only bright side is at least there’s a twin turbo at the end of the tunnel now.

Fixed that for you too :rofl2:

In our last nismo z, wifey and I ran z1 poly trans and motor mounts, it wasn’t bad at all, then again, we had full spl suspension as well so the trans and motor mounts were the most compliant part of the car. :icon17:

I'm impressed. Not one upside down picture :stirthepot:

I'll take performance over comfort anytime in my project car.

I was going through some of my dad’s papers and among them was a letter from his grandmother ( my great grandmother ) dated 1944. In it she explains that she wasn’t able to write him for a while because she had run out of writing paper and wasn’t able to find any because, of ww2 and things just weren’t available.
She goes on to say that she’s including a dime and wants him to share it with his younger brother :icon17:

Boy has the world ever changed :ugh2:

Ever since I had to put out $9 grand for the motor. We been thinking on dumping it. It's been a lot of sleepless nights. Decided about 2 weeks ago to let it go. I been sleeping fine ever since. Once it goes to auction and what the bank decides. Then I'll decide on what I want to do.
