A buddy of mine found a pair of 1977 Klipsch Heresy speakers (made not very far from where I live) at an estate sale for $20!! The cabinets are a little rough but the drivers appear to have been fairly recently replaced. And the grilles are in excellent shape. Hooked them up in my living room this evening and they sound sexy when driven by a 45W Marantz amp of about the same vintage. Dang things weigh 50 pounds a piece.
