How many time have you tried to watch this movie before falling a sleep in the last 2 weeks?

Rusty 06-01-2021 07:30 PM

Feels like I'm on the wrong end of a can of Whoop Azz. :icon14: I sore all over. Think I'm done prepping the ground for the pool. Need a truck load of sand now.

Make up today for having no deliveries yesterday. :shakes head: We got hammered.

Rusty 06-01-2021 07:42 PM

I know how you feel…dug up a fat Albert blue spruce in my yard that died of a fungus about 20 foot tall. Used hand saw for the trunk and my arms and back are sore as can be. Went to bed last night w 2 xtra strength Tylenol’s and still feeling it today.

We’re not getting any younger my friend…

039 is a good saw. I had a pair of 026 magnums and an 046 mag with a 32" bar before the divorce. the 026s where great for 90% of what i did but that long bar on the big saw was nice. You can cut a bunch of chit without having to bend over

-ZS-Carpenter 06-01-2021 09:10 PM

Speaking of chainsaws I need a new one. Going electric this time :ugh2:. I'm not doing a lot and it's just around the yard mostly. You can guess the brand :yum: I'm as bad with that stuff as JC is with the Snap on man :rofl2:

Base of the spruce was apps 14” diameter…I did have a 7” blade for my dewalt sawzall that came in handy to cut the limbs down quickly. Had my 2 boys helping and it took about 3 hours. Township only picks up piles of 4’ x 6’ at at time on Tuesdays but you have to call for pick up. Will take 3 calls to haul off.

When I bought mine yeeears ago. It was a toss up between the 039 and the 038 Mag. Both was the same price. The 038 Mag could handle a longer bar easier. But I didn't need a longer bar at that time. I've gone through a chit load of chains tho.
