I enjoy having my wife get me on the phone while they are trying to feed her a bunch of ********. Then I hand them their *** on a platter.

The worst/best was one time at the Nissan dealership. Manager gave her a bunch of BS on what it would require to fix the hesitation/idling hiccup her Rogue would make. She called me and I was talking to him on speaker phone. He gave me the same story. I can’t remember all the **** he fed me, but it was obvious he was trying to score additional work because he had been dealing with a woman. I asked him to give the wife back the phone and while still on speaker I yelled, ‘Tell him to **** off and quit lying to try and get over on a woman.’ I finished with, ‘Walk out and we’ll trade the car in on a Lexus this weekend.’

She told me the looks from the other people in the waiting room were priceless.

What's with the new interest with people wanting to go FI lately?

Combined with the price of the car is now cheap. Most of these 'people' are buying 09s with 100K+ on the clock and wanting to go fast on the cheap. There will be a metric fuckton of blown motors soon.... :owned:

JARblue 10-20-2020 03:08 PM

Limped the Z over to the shop in 2nd gear this afternoon. Hopefully new clutch and CMAK install will happen in the next week or two :driving:

I am sick of wearing t-shirts with MT-related-slogans and not having an MT to drive

JARblue 10-20-2020 03:09 PM

I looked at some GT-Rs online today :)

That 2013 Black Edition with only 45K miles for $65K seems pretty reasonable :driving:

THIS. I hate-read the posts in the Facebook 370 page when I take a dump at work. It is truly shocking how many dumbfuck kids seem to have recently decided that the best possible use for their entire available credit card balance is a rebuilt title 370 and a secondhand turbo kit.

I've seen some local Honda ricers install a turbo kit and beat the car to death. When the motor pops. Take the turbo kit off, junk the car. And get another Honda and start all over again. :icon14:

Speaking for myself, there aren't too many mods left for N/A and I'm getting bored... so I decided to be like Congress and just throw money at the problem.

jchammond 10-20-2020 04:42 PM

And tonight’s featured special “Black Horse Canyon”

He's not talking about us. It's the broke azz kids that yank off over facebook/instagram horsechit. Look at all the tards with the flame maps and the bragging up of overpriced parts that do d*ck. Somehow after watching 80 hours of the the fast and fvcking retarded movies they think that they can make "800 HP" with a 140k mile salvage title Z on a $5k budget. Then after being told over and over it's 20k after you fix that broke azz hooptie they keep asking until the find some dumb chit somewhere who says "fvck yea that will work!" :shakes head:

I'm just broke in general with no grandeur plans to go FI anytime in the foreseeable future. But my 09 with 37k miles on it is fully paid off. So I got that going for me at least. Haha.

I'm half temped to tell them, "yea, go ahead and let it rip. The stock block will hold a 1000hp no problem. And you don't need anything else. " Then stand back and watch the show. :rofl2:

:google:

A Yankee dryer is a pressure vessel used in the production of tissue paper. On the Yankee dryer, the paper goes from approximately 42–45% dryness to just over 89% dryness. In industry, MG cylinders or Yankee dryers are primarily used to remove excess moisture from pulp that is about to be converted into paper

Leingod 10-20-2020 07:39 PM

But what about a Yankee doodle that Zoren uses?

i installed a direct wire in my QX right after work, had to pull apart the center console from the seats to the screen, first time doing it, managed to get everything done before it got dark..

eastwest2300 10-20-2020 08:03 PM

just as I was walking away from the QX the sky fell out with a big time tropical downpour.. had to run to the apartment before I got drenched on... foooook.

I wondered where that went. I went and had an xray to make sure I didn't leave it somewhere else. :icon14:
