For today’s lesson in Baconology..., I bring you the third in my wildly popular series of pubic service announcements about this amazing treat....

BACON BITS
by the Spoiler

Ancient Romans called bacon, “Petaso”. Before bacon migrated westward, where it became a dish worthy of modern-day foodies. The Romans made petaso, as they called it, by boiling salted pig shoulder with figs, and then seasoning the mixture with pepper sauce. Wine was, of course, a frequent accompaniment.

...and now back to your regular scheduled programming...

:hello:

I'z up.

Woke up to a very overcast winter sky again. I can barely see across the river. It's a low cloud. Got another inch of snow/ice pellets last night. 27F with a high of 33F. Melt some then refreeze tonight.

Got up a bit early. Got to take the Jeep in to the dealer to fix the CEL. They have to drop the gas tank to replace a broken hose on top of it. :shakes head:

I bet all of the trucks that didn't show up yesterday at work will show up today along with the trucks scheduled for today. Doubling my work load. :shakes head:

We used to get those Thunder/Snow storms once in a while when I lived out in Oregon. Those were certainly unexpected eye openers!

The first time anyone hears thunder snow. It's like :wtf:. :rofl2: The lightening is the scary part.

Might be more than the snow. It seems that Forward Air was one of the people that got hit with that SolarWinds hack. I still don't know where my crate is at...

I'm back in KC...:icon17:

Forward Air is the freight company that screwed up my hot tub cover order. I got someone else's cover. After a month. I finally got mine. But still have the other cover too. They don't want it back.

Anyone want a $600 hot tub cover and $200 lift system?
