Bacon actually dates back to about 1500 BC. The Chinese were the first to cook salted pork bellies more than 3000 years ago. This makes bacon one of the world’s oldest processed meats.

Yup.... just 8 more days. And to get us in that holiday spirit, here is another picture of the big guy that we are all awaiting...

We got around 4" - 5" here. My sister and brother-in-law brought my nieces over to sled on the hill behind my house, and we had a great time with them. Little kids crack me up. Utterly fearless at times.

Drive into work was a bit sketchy this morning, but easy enough once I hit the highway. How's stuff here?

All is smooth sailing here... all the animals are not up yet...

65 degrees here right now. Might have to slip a light jacket and my fuzzy slippers on to walk out for the newspaper...

Got to go to the hospital this morning. I’ll think I will get my therapists to take a photo with me today...
