Went apple picking. Got $45 in apples. Prices are insane this year. $2 a pound.

I'm guessing with all that some apple pies are on the horizon? Even make some apple sauce. :yum:

Just got done cooking for 14 people. :icon14:

Burgers, hot dogs, brats, and 4 meatless burgers. I hate cooking the meatless burgers. Can't tell if they are done or not. :shakes head:

Cooked everything on a charcoal grill. Haven't used one of those in years.

I have so many apples hanging on the trees the branches are bowing down. They exploded this year. Cider prices are nice and cheap ~$5 a gallon. :yum:

Charcoal makes some good burgers. One of my faves.

Exactly why the grill on the deck is natural gas :icon17: I hate waiting for charcoal to burn down but no denying it has good flavor.

Making applesauce from scratch is from the devil. I hate making it but it tastes so good when you can load it with cinnamon.

I’m down to only four oranges on the tree I planted in May. It started with nine, but the transfer shock took its toll.

I gave up gas grilling a decade ago... now it's just coals. It's all about the taste. :yum:
