:hello::hello::hello:
I survived my trip to Tacoma.... barely. :icon14: I had to stop in Oakland both ways, what an adventure.... NOT!!! :eek: I had enough time going out to get something to eat. Not many choices and it's a little bit of a hike to get to a place that has something other than stale potato chips. I ordered some food and sat down, took my mask off so I could catch my breath and eat. Wouldn't you know that 'Karen' was sitting at a table about 6' away and started bitching about me not having a mask on. WTF?!?!? :icon14: I explained to her that if she didn't mind her own damn business, there would be a problem. Her butch friend convinced her that minding her own business was a good idea..... :shakes head::shakes head::shakes head: The number of rude people I encountered was amazing. Most of the trips both ways, there were less than 100 people on board, yet there were some that insisted on throwing elbows so they could get off first... from the middle of the airplane....:icon14: I hate people......:gtfo2: |

You guys have any recommendations on tools or chemicals to use to deep clean a bathroom? And I do mean deep clean. Like, fully neglected for a decade with tons of water/soap buildup in the shower, etc.

Vinegar & water with the Mr Clean pad does well on glass.... the fumes from the vinegar can be a little much some times. I'd get a scrub brush with a handle to scrub the grout. If it's that bad, I'd saturate it and let it sit for an hour. |
Comet (let it sit, might take a couple applications) + Scrub brush.
|
I am currently hosing everything down with that purple foam stuff and comet. It has taken off the top layers of soap scum, but the heavier dirt underneath still remains. The plexiglass on the shower doors are heavily caked in scum/spots.
I picked up some hard bristled scrubbers as well as those wands you attach to a power drill. I am currently suffocating myself using lemon bleach. |
I'll have to head out tonight to get those supplies you guys recommended.
