I have to laugh... I just took Mrs Spoilers Murano to get the oil changed.

I roll up to the place and the dude walks out and asks me what can he help me with. I hold up my finger to signify wait a minute, and I grab my tablet and write him a note that says I can’t talk, but I want a full service oil change done. I point to my neck bandages. He nods okay and I drive it forward up and over his oil change pit.

Throughout the rest of the oil change, which took about 15 minutes or less, he keeps coming back to my drivers window and acting stuff out like it’s a game of charades. I just smile and shake my head to answer in some way. No I dont want an air filter, No I don’t want wiper blades, Each time he goes through this big dramatic acting session to convey what he needs to tell me.

When the whole thing is done and I pay by credit card and I drew him up another note that said, “Thanks and though I can’t speak, I actually can hear but I do appreciate you trying to work with me.”. He looked at it and started laughing .... and off I drove.

At least you were fortunate enough that he could read. Around here that’s not a given.

Just got back from lunch. Fed my little squirrel buddy some birdseed and now looking at tickets for two events at COTA. It's a good day.
