Our governor said we're only allowed 11 family members over for Thanksgiving but we're allowed 30 family members for a funeral. I'm going to hold a funeral for our turkey on Thanksgiving day

Our positivity rating is 16%. Grocery out of chicken and TP again.

Starting to climb here again as well. I cancelled Thanksgiving with my idiotic family and not going to Susan's dad's side. Just going to have a small gathering with her, her mom, and brother on black Friday for dinner.

I don't get it in terms of Meats. Why go for chicken and ground beef first? For simplicity? Whenever I went to the store, I was always ecstatic to find huge chunks of packer brisket, chunk roasts, whole chickens, full filets, etc when browsing. Way cheaper, so much tastier when slow cooked, and you get more for your money. Not like it's difficult to ground your own meat or cut up a chicken into an 8 piece.

Leingod 11-16-2020 07:17 PM

On a side note, any recommendations of high quality gin? Susan wants some for Xmas, but I can't stand the taste of the stuff. I've got no clue what actually tastes good. Was going to try aviation and botanist for her.

That’s an oxymoron. There is no quality Gin.

Walmart here started today to limit TP per purchase. 4 rolls at a time. No big packages. :shakes head: Here we go again.

Wifey bought a spiral cut ham for Thanksgiving. So it will be just us. Brother not interested in doing anything. Daughter is 6 months along, so it her and BF. She doesn't want to risk it.

For you people working from home now. In some circles of power. They want to tax people working from home. Because you are saving money by not coming into work. So you are not buying as much gas (road tax), paying tolls to use roads and bridges.

Douche bank called it a 5% tax. They can eat a bag of koks. No way would that chit fly here.
