They said yesterday that the weather was terrible and today in the News look like it wasn't much better.

Recording Barret Jackson on DVR. Amazing how the classic car prices have gone down, I should've sold while the value was high, but then again...was not in the market to sell, so I guess I made out.

yep, the weather has been terrible here the last few days. I did drive by the tents the other day and could see some of the cars inside.

66 Lincoln Cont convertible, 72 Chevelle, 76 Olds Cutlass & 90 Integra (not quite a classic yet...but getting there)

By watching this auction I can certainly say that is something wrong with this country when a car just sold in $200,000.00 and a lot of people are without a job, foreclousure, etc. :stirthepot:

And tommorrow there are going to be cars gone for over $500,000.00.

66 lincoln, very cool...nice sled! Worth quite a bit though. If you opt to sell any classics let me know. I have a group of friends that love classics and I can always check for you.

Without getting into politics Papa, you're saying that something is wrong because someone bought a car for 200K? Could be a buyer representing someone in the Middle East, could be Bill Gates, I'm interested in your rational how that raises a red flag in your book?

Not trying to start an argument, just wondering... You wouldnt be complaining if you were the one that found and built that car and netted the $, or if you spent the last 5 years of your life building it. Just a thought man...

Thanks for the offer and quote. Because I have a love for cars, especially ones that are not seen everyday and the change in technology and style over the years, it's unlikely I'll sell....just enjoy driving something different every now & then.
