Hearing doc appointment this afternoon. I know I've got some issues, so what's two or three steps below Joby? Is that merely 'selective hearing' or not quite deaf as a post? :inoutroflpuke:

I have a hard time trying to go to sleep because of it. The house is all nice and quiet. All I hear is fvckin' crickets.

Same. I always have a fan, air purifier, a/c unit, etc running at any given time at night just so I can fall asleep without listening to a high pitched screeching sound resonating in my head.

Mine's more like a low-grade buzzing (think 60Hz from a florescent light ballast) that will occasionally peak to about 400 Hz and feel like a spike through my head. :icon14:
