You guys aren't going to believe this. My wife gave her friend in Tampa, Fl 25 or so dogs to keep for a couple of weeks while until things pass over. Well, that friend stop answering texts and Facebook messages today. She even blocked my wife from messaging. The dogs prices ranged from 2000 dollars to 4500 dollars. That is about 90k in dogs. Plus she gave her several momma's with puppies. That is a tune of 110k easy. Got to get a lawyer for that now. This is no small claims court. This is no doubt a Felony charge of theft by taking.

Damn, that f'd up. How long has she known this "friend"? I think I'd be making a drive to Florida.

With the usual disclaimer that you aren't my client, I am not representing you in any legal capacity, and this is freely-given advice from a friend to a friend:

Get a Florida attorney now. If you have a hometown lawyer they could probably get you a good recommendation. You probably want a temporary restraining order ASAP. To prevent her from selling the dogs.

You could also consider filing a police report with her local PD. The key to this is heading it off at the pass.

We have the dogs AKC papers and the dogs are micro chipped. We will work on what you stated.
