Check for scratches on the terminals. You were gone for five days and it's not unknown for Redondo to show up and hook jumper cables to his nipples :wtf2:

Also look for motor oil on the ground too. He likes to oil himself up before hooking up the cables. :icon14:

Fried clam dinner tonight. :yum: I really need to find a place that does a great Smelt dinner. Those are my downfall, I love them. :yum:

Im assuming they're tasty. Salty like sardines, mild like catfish? I've never eaten...

They are really small and very mild, not salty at all. Usually use a pair of scissors to cut off head and then use pinky finger to rip guts out. Dip in batter and toss in the fryer. :yum:

Optima quality took a sh1t about a decade ago when, surprise surprise, they moved production to Mexico.

However, in the last couple years, they’ve really put an emphasis on QC and apparently have a new factory down there and things have turned around.

I have a new yellow top in my Jeep installed 7 mo ago, it’s been fine, works great, but that’s not exactly scientific info. Would/will buy again but hopefully not have to for a long time.

My dad and uncle would go out smelt dipping with nets. They would come home with 55 gallon drums filled. Hours and hours and hours of cleaning the bastards.
