I tried 2 different strap wrenches, wouldn't budge. I used a 3' pipe wrench and I needed the pipe wrench all the way until the last thread. My 2014, it came off by hand. :icon14:

Think it depends on the day, time of day, and if the guy is hung over or not. As to how much lock tite goes on the threads.
