She's definitely just about the nicest and calmest dog I've ever encountered. I wouldn't mind beating the original owners with a sock full of nickels for a while.

Got a notice that the Fuji strut bar was delayed this weekend "due to train derailment" :icon14:

It is still on schedule for delivery today :rolleyes:

"Train derailed" is used for almost any train delay. If they have trouble hooking or unhooking a car and your package is on a train behind it? That's a train that derailed. I imagine a train car just falls over on the tracks and I can hear the yard supervisor yelling "who forgot to put down the kickstand?!?!?" lol

Morning all! Hope you had a great weekend. Meet Jazzy, newest member of the household, at least for now. She's a foster, was being used as a breeder in a puppy mill, and hasn't had a great life so far. We're working to improve that. Total sweetheart with people, very quiet. She was very perky and inquisitive the first night she arrived, but seemed like she got a bit sick yesterday and she laid around from noon onwards. Seemed better this morning, but wife is taking her to the vet today which will also help us establish age.

:tiphat: for saving her. Hopefully, she's just decided she's in a good place and feels comfortable laying around. Let me know if you need help with vet bills (won't be much but every little bit helps). Good luck on finding her a permanent home.

People who abuse dogs (or any other animal) deserve the worst that can happen to them.

No knocks were made and nobody called my name. This could have turned out bad. I just feel violated.

:eek::eek::eek:

WTF?!?!?! Do they not know how to knock down there? She should have been met with a 12 gauge.... :shakes head::shakes head:

Think when it's all said and done. 90% of the population had and never knew it.

I bought some Southwest airline stock the end of May. It's up enough that I've made back the broker fees. :tup:

I'm trying to increase my balance for a home down payment next year. We're only at 7k in my Rollover IRA but I think my spouse is at about 4k in his money market. I need to figure out what to invest my Tesla gains into.
