Thats how we do it, ketchup and brown sugar mix on top. My aunt latticed some bacon across the top and then sauced it. It was pretty darn good and stayed really moist.

Not sure if these are local only, my aunt grew up across the street from the family. If you are a meatloaf fan, these are awesome.

Mom used to put bacon on top too at times.

Meat loaf with the bacon on top, and baked bake beans with bacon on top. :yum: Mom made that a lot when I was a kid. :yum: Chit........I'm hungry for that now.......:yum:

Now that is making me hungry.

It was my birthday today. Had Sous Vide New York Strip Steak and triple cooked chips. Now I fancy meat loaf tomorrow / today

I've had something like that. :yum: Also had meat loaf made from Spam. It was done up just like a regular meat loaf. :yum:

I wonder how an elk meat loaf would taste. Hmmmm Got some elk steaks in the freezer.
