all the k9 cops locally i believe use german shepherds.

i know my pops has donated and got like 3-4 dogs for the local cops over the years.

So, I've been having issues with my Directv. When I talked to the service rep I told them that the tech will need an extension ladder to get on my apartment roof. It's about 25' high. The tech shows up and he's a big fat guy. I can tell he's not looking forward to climbing his 28' ladder. :rofl2:

The directv tech called in to get a longer ladder but called me and ask if I'd hold his 28 footer while he climbed up. I said of course, as long as he felt comfortable. He did it. Can't say I wasn't scared standing below him hoping the ladder didn't slip and he comes down on me. It's all good, he made it ok. He's going out of his way and changing all the exterior cable too. Super nice guy, great service tech.

Give him some cookies or at least a soda. :tup:

He was getting ready to fill up an igloo bucket with my hose and I told him I'd get him some fresh drinking water. He said that was his hand washing bucket :icon17: and he has plenty of fresh drinking water. He thanked me for helping me. He said he would have had to wait 2 hours for a longer ladder. I told him to make sure they send me a customer survey form because I want to give him an outstanding rating.

I hate it when I call customer service to compliment an outstanding tech and the idiot on the phone isn't even interested in helping me file a compliment. I usually end up talking to someone else and filing one compliment and one complaint :rolleyes:

A malinois? Now I am seriously jealous. Bear from Person of Interest and how could you not like chicks with guns? Root and Shaw?

There have been alot of people in my apartment complex not able to pay rent from this lock down and being furloughed. A few days ago, I spoke to the apartment managers asking them if they would accept food donations for families that are struggling. They just emailed me back. They said they mentioned it to a few people here and theyre onboard. Now we are going to pool our donations to give to struggling families. Just call me the Community Organizer :roflpuke2:

I worked with a guy named Dwight at the power plant. He was bigger the JC. 6'6", 395 lbs. His goal was to be 400 lbs, and he worked hard at trying to reach 400 lbs. The reason being. Is that there is no ladder or safety harness OSHA rated for that weight. He got out of so much work. :shakes head: Other guys hated him. It could be zero outside, he be wearing a button shirt only and be sweating. He's the only person I've ever seen sweat, eating lunch. :eek:
