Would that be the war machine that we brought online to save you fellas from Germany? The one that we kept in place at our expense, to help fill the power vacuum created when your empire collapsed?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of it, but I recognize that it wouldn't exist if your country and France hadn't bowed to Hitler's capricious whims as he expanded (virtually bloodlessly) into Czechoslovakia, the Rhineland, and Austria, emboldening his supporters to the possibility of a new German reich. Unfortunately, Chamberlain the appeaser did nothing, and here we are today. IMO taking shots at something you helped to create is not a great move.

Not to mention the untold millions and millions of dollars we've poured into the UK economy since the end of WW2 to maintain facilities, employ, military contracts,...

Some people just don't get it.

Haha welllll that's a whole 'nother thing. It could be argued in both cases, we've reaped the benefits of our investment, in that we are the world reserve currency for a reason. There are some good points in favor of isolationism, but undoubtedly our unprecedented level of global dominance came partly as the result of British support, which, as you point out, we payed them for quite heavily. Of course, we also did a lot to hasten the collapse of their empire.

But doesn’t China have most US currency? We can’t deny the US Dollar is the global currency unless bitcoin overtakes it. The Euro has collapsed
