Finally got back to the gym and tried my old routine. Mistake! :icon14: I've lost about 30% chest strength over the past 10 weeks. I'm so sore!! Ha ha!

The arms, shoulders, back and legs, however, seem to have hung in there for the most part.

Nevertheless, it was nice to get back to near normalcy after all the covid flu insanity.

I leave that combo for the pros. I'd only make a mess out of such a "cocktail".

Just close your eyes and throw it all out. And when you don't think you have anything else to toss, start looking for more. I'm already doing that now in a big way anticipating my next move. I've recently posted 3 large items on Craigslist. :shakes head:

Don't you play ring toss after the viagra? With donuts? :icon17:

JARblue 06-08-2020 11:31 AM

So I'm not buying anything anytime soon. Probably next year. But I'm looking at larger tool chests. On wheels.

Please convince me I should spend the $3-5K for Snap-On quality instead of the $500-$1500 for US General (HF brand or similar) or Husky/Craftsman quality.

Something like this US General tool chest or this Husky tool chest

vs

Something like this Snap-On tool chest

Another option that I just noticed came to market is Tekton. No idea on price point though.

Right now, I would say use that 3-5k on getting your Z worked on! THEN after that, spend money the "want" list. I mean, you can always sell that HF tool chest when youre ready for the Strap On... :driving:

madwi 06-08-2020 11:36 AM

I ended up with a Masterforce which is the Menard's home brand. At the end of the day, it holds tools. I dont wheel mine around the garage and Ill never put 400 pounds in any one drawer so its hard to justify the large price tags.

I agree. The Snap On is 5x the price, and they both just hold tools... in a garage. I guess if you were a professional mechanic, the Snap On might make more sense?

My concern is whether or not youre still infectious if you did in fact contract the virus. Reason being is that my brother is in a care home with old people, and I certainly would not want to risk their health.

Great casters are a god send if moving it from hangar to hangar or around the shop. When you use it all day to make money, nice drawer slides that hold a ton of weight that are configurable and easy slide self closing drawers are all wonderful things to have. In my garage I dont care about any of those things as it just sits there, holding tools. Even has a power strip built into side and 2 USB outlets.

If dropping the cash, this is a beastly unit that has some really nice wide drawers across the top.

That's similar to my Snap-on box, except the far left bank on this one is on the far right on my box. I've got to find a pic of it. :icon17:

Smoking a pork tenderloin with beech pellets. Gonna have it hit 200F so it's easily shreddable. Make some pulled pork sammiches tonight.
