Made it to the Outer Banks. :tup:
Did it in 9 hrs.

One stop for gas. If I didn't need gas. My brother would have drove straight through. :shakes head:

Driving on the beach is a blast. :driving:

18 lbs in the tires, 4 Hi, sway bar disconnected, lockers locked, pedal to the metal. :happydance:

Glad we had the windows up. Hi tide. One spot on the beach is narrow. Sprayed water about 50 ft in the air. :rofl2:

Have about 10 ft waves. There's a storm off shore.

That'll be a beautiful trip. If you were coming down to So. Cal. I would have giving to some sightseeing tips.

I think the furthest we will end up going is Pismo Beach. We did South Big Sur and Pismo Beach two years ago when highway 1 was closed. It will be nice to get to drive it finally.
