Keep your pets in the house down there. When I was going down there years ago. Always would hear about someone going out to get their dog that was chained up. Only to find the end of the chain and maybe a dog collar.

Oh, you are so correct...and I am aware and cautious... there are gators within 500 feet of my house down here...

Nevertheless, I joined a Kayaking club today.... :ugh2:

My lawyer told me to take it up the a$$ and call it a win lol

It's not even worth him drafting a letter. And it's not worth my time to make them shell out for medical treatment I don't need. Not to mention that I'm posting on a public forum about the possibility I don't need any. It's ok. Shìt happens. In the grand scheme of things, I can say that I'm not injured and the money is peanuts. It'll be ok.

My thing is to get overly pissed about stupid shìt that isn't really important. When real shìt goes down, I double down on the best approach for myself and those I care about. Which in this case, I think is to just wipe my hands clean as quick as possible. I don't have to be happy about it, but I also don't have to let it affect my positive outlook on things. Perspective helps.

JARblue 12-30-2019 08:30 PM

Thanks for all the well wishes, y'all. It's been a full day of bullshìt and support. The support has me very thankful and the bullshìt has me smoking a bowl :icon17:

You probably should go back and get the pain med prescription. You dont even need to get it filled, just get it. (You just want a record on file that you needed it...)

Yup. I'm well aware. I did get the prescription. I just didn't pay to get it filled.

Frankly, I could probably wait and get at least another $500-1000 more if I hold out. The thing is... I don't want to wait. I want this to be over. And I realize I'm paying for that. I could have done this over a year ago and had 12 fewer car payments and been out of pocket about half the amount. But I wasn't willing to do it and that was my mistake. Lesson learned; and I'm applying it now.

When you go kayaking. Make sure it's a kayak that you are stepping into, and not the mouth of a gator.

If you want to come out ahead, Get the pain meds and go get physical therapy. You will make 8 to 10k just by doing that. That is money in the bank. Make sure you get an MRI also. If you have a herniated disk they will see it. If you don't do these things stop crying about getting screwed out of the car being totaled. You need to get checked out anyway, The first day is cake. It is two to three days later when it really hits. You want to be made hole? Listen to what I am saying. I had the major issues, My wife's was not as bad but it wasn't a cake walk either.

Finally, Get a lawyer now.

That black tank is your air compressor? :icon14:

I thought you had something like a 60 gal tank. I would bleed your's dry in about 3 minutes with one of my air tools. My next one is going to be an 80 gal tank.

I want another Tegu for a pet. My old one would sit with me on the couch watching tv and we'd share a peanut butter and jelly sammich. :icon17: It would eat whole eggs, fish, ham sammiches, whatever I put in front of its face was fair game. When he got bigger he'd pace the 100G tank watching the little toy rat terrier play. He was all about having a 6 pound snack. :icon17:
