Our weather is going to start changing too. This may be the last day to take the Z to work. :shakes head:

It is suppose to snow here today. I just aint ready for it. Insurance dropped on the Z this past Monday.

JLarson 10-30-2019 06:58 AM

Dropping into the high 30s at the end of this week here, but we typically won't see much lower than that for another month or so. The Z abides, dude.

Be about 2 weeks maybe to the insurance on my Z.

Sister in law in Denver said that they are getting pounded with record snow and cold temps. Logan UT, really got it good.

Good morning folks!:hello:Going to have freezing temps here too Friday morning.:wtf2:

Hotrodz 10-30-2019 08:58 AM

Good morning peeps! It is cold and windy here. Extreme red flag warning near us which means hurricane like winds. It is the first time in history this warning has been given. I guess no kite flying for a while.

May I ask how often you go out and fly kites when there isn't an extreme red flag warning?

I'm sick of the Z not running :(

I should do something about that :icon17:

I think once the oil pump gears come in, she's going to the shop. Gonna let Kevin get her running again and then break into the front timing cover for me. Oil pump gears, oil galley gaskets, ATI pulley (should probably order one of those), and engine mounts. Should I do a new belt while everything's apart?

Yes, belt and pullies if needed.

JARblue 10-30-2019 10:22 AM

Well, that's the thing. I'm not sure they really "need" replacing. Just thinking as more of a preventative thing.

That's not Kevin's style, so no point in asking him. He won't recommend replacing them unless there's a problem.
