Cupcakez update

Cupcake hits me up almost daily on Facebook Messenger with questions about mods for his car. Today he's asking me about fuel upgrades. He wants to convert to e85 and he needs to upgrade because his car's making more boost now. He currently has ID1050x injectors (good). He was asking about a fuel pump. I told him minimum of walbro 450. He said Charles recommended the 525 hellcat. Perfect, that's above my minimum recommendation. I told him he'll need the zeitronix eca-2, and a fuel return system. I also recommended he install the cjm billet hat. He decides he wants the cjm s1.se frs but his mechanic said he doesn't need the top hat because his (the mechanics) hasn't failed in the 3 years he's had his car.

Plus, he said he's trying to save money. I told him he doesn't need the billet fuel rails that come with the s1.se kit and just get the s1.e kit if he wants to save money. I also said, no you don't actually need the billet hat either but you're going to have the fuel pump assembly out for modification, why wouldnt you install the top hat for peace of mind. He said his mechanic told him they could do the top hat at a later date.

On top of all these daily questions, he never once ask's about how my cars coming along.

I must be a glutten for punishment. Rant over. :rofl2:

Got my sectional out to the 24’ mark  Gotta tie everything in/ as this one has to be raised a bit more than the previous one :iagree:
Might be cutting last one at 30’ because after doing the math, including the exterior OSB will put it over the 500sq mark :ugh2:

Uhaul offers a similar service for much cheaper. My sister used that to move to Wyoming.

There gonna be enough room for that four-post lift that JAR is gonna buy, never install, and end up selling to you? :stirthepot:

That's what I was afraid of.

Got my wheels back from powder coat, they're back on the car. It now needs to go for alignment and corner balance. Just set up a tune date with Seb but it won't be for a couple of months so I'm asking him if he can email me a tune so I can daily it and properly break in my clutch and os giken diff. Other than that, just a few little things to wrap up.

Mine's basically ready for tune. Just got wheels back from powder coat and tires mounted. Needs to go for alignment and corner balance. Probably won't go in to Seb until February but hopefully he can email me a daily tune so I can break in my clutch and os giken diff.

Been MIA past couple days hep No my boss with his ongoing project. Got the interior looking as good as new Monday but today was the real b*tch. We were removing the clear bra off the car but the adhesive was very stubborn, mainly on the front bumper. Busted over to our buddy’s wrap shop and picked up some nasty chemical adhesive remover, but that’s how you know it’s the good stuff. Shift knob got shipped out today but don’t think I’ll get it until Monday. Back to the office tomorrow before enjoying some stuffing and a 4 day weekend:tup:

What a fùcking moron :shakes head: I wish he would abandon this forum and stick to the FB groups...

He wants to save money but he's taking the advice of a mechanic who clearly wants to gouge him for more labor down the road. He hasn't learned a damn thing and still won't think about things from a logical perspective.

Of course he hasn't asked about your car. He's just wasting your time and using you. Like he is with this forum. I find it too bad that most of the people are nice enough to put up with him :(

JARblue 11-27-2019 02:04 AM

I was a real azzhole earlier today. Still on the fence as to whether I'm remorseful. Leaning towards IDGAF. I needed to say it and they needed to hear it

That new 8 speed in the jl is one of the biggest improvements over my jk. It makes a huge difference. Still keeping mine forever tho, too much tech to go wrong out of warranty on the new Jeeps.
