Nissan Renault Alliance might be done

So I read this today about execs at Nissan all out said if Renault attempts to have any influence over Nissan "it will never happen".

The balls on these guys make me proud. Hopefully we'll start seeing more reliable cars in the future because it looks like we won't see this alliance in 2020.

The thing about the Japanese is that they take GREAT pride in what they establish and produce. They don't like (like most Asian cultures) their reputations being soiled, since it is everything to them. They are aware how **** Renaults are and don't want to be plagued by them anymore. I hope they just cut them of completely.

Haha did you see the comparison between the Leaf and the Renault equivalent that was suppose to platform share? The only thing they had in common where the door handles lol. I really wonder how much influence Renault has. Nissan's quality took a fall after Renault joined but I wanted to know which cars did they design and which parts did they design. Like who's idea was it to go with Jatco, the worst bloody transmission maker besides anything made by Chrysler or Fiat. I would figure they would guard their flagship cars like the GTR, Z and Leaf but other cars, not so much.
