That's been happening when I click on some links other members have posted in the forum. Very annoying. I don't want a ****ing Juke, Nissan.

JARblue 06-22-2019 08:35 AM

 Which shortcut? Nothing like that ever happens on the forum for me. Some posted links might do it, but that's because they website they link to is doing it, not the forum.

Are you possibly referring to your browser bookmarks or a desktop shortcut? If so, it's probably whatever adware you have on your computer.

SouthArk370Z 06-22-2019 08:56 AM

Change your shortcut to point to "http://www.the370z.com"

I should have said "bookmarks" and just now as I tried to quote you I get...you're being redirected....:owned::driving:

SouthArk370Z 06-22-2019 10:27 AM

What is the URL that the bookmark points to?

I don't get a redirect when I use that URL.

Check for any browser add-ons that you didn't install. Run a virus/malware scan on your system.

:icon14: What's wrong with the Juke? It's a decent 2nd car for winter months...

I get it, I get either like or hate for my Juke, it's not just a "meh" car. :ugh2:

going off topic, did you know how much at 30k milers the CVT oil change will cost you on your Juke...I will never buy a car with a CVT transmission ever or even an auto...unless you're one of the few ones that got a standard...YouTube it and save money :driving:

I service it myself, not a big deal really.

I know but it's only replacing 5 out of 10 QT's...the dealer says they have to drop the tranny to drain all 10 qts....:shakes head:

NISMO IX 06-22-2019 04:31 PM

And the two separate cvt filters, etc. I know. I still service it myself. I only put 6,000 miles a year on it. 2014 with only 27,000 miles. Every 15,000 I dump, change filters and fill. Not looking to turn it into a rally car or anything. Only the brakes are slightly upgraded. It is my point A to B car/grocery getter.

Yes this thread got derailed.

Edit: I do agree however, would've bought the manual if they offered the AWD with it.

More than likely, you've got some adware or other software that has hijacked your computer. Probably just ad stuff, but it could be more serious if you are experiencing slower than usual performance from your machine.

Actually only happens with this site. All my other porn sites move nicely...lol :rofl2::driving:

JARblue 06-23-2019 11:27 AM

I promise you it is not the forum that's doing it. Somewhere on your computer there is adware that is redirecting your forum link. You can try deleting the bookmark and creating a new one, but chances are it won't help. You need to remove the software causing the issue. Try disabling and/or removing any browser add-ons - they are notorious for piggybacking adware onto your machine.

Even though we have an absentee landlord, since no one else is reporting a similar problem, it doesn't appear to be anything to do with the370z.com. But I can't promise you that the site hasn't been hacked.

I'm with JARblue and others that you probably have some malware floating around on your computer. I think most browsers have a "safe mode" that will not load add-ons when the browser starts. If that fixes the problem, add back your add-ons, one at a time, until the problem reappears.

If that doesn't work, you need to find a good malware scanner for your OS.

I use my comp and wifey works from home and her boss pays for the internet/ cable etc and has the most up to date virus protection. I believe its an app from Apple that makes Windows and Apple work together and faster. Not a big deal, never thought it was thsi site that caused the ads to appear but the ads are for new and old 370Z's, go figure, maybe one day I will click on it and let it load. :driving::tiphat:
