Had to do the A/C on the Silverado before I got rid of it. The evaporator is in the bash. 12 hrs of labor. Apparently the new GM dash comes apart in 8-10 pieces.

Picked up a ribeye last night. I’ll marinate it when I get home and into the bath it goes. Figure about 3 hrs @125*F should do her just about right.

Please don’t send me a link. I don’t need to rebuy all the tools I already have at home. I’m a sucker for ratcheting wrenches.

Funny thing was as soon as I got it home from dropping a grand on getting the A/C fixed the drive rear door lock stopped working. Just thought ‘Fuck, damn thing went GM on me’. Went and bought a Tundra.

I like going to the The Soo Locks in Sault Ste Marie Mi. and watching the freighters go from one lake to the other.

I have a set of gearwrench ratcheting and they work really well. But the snap on set is kinda alluring.

Howdy partners. Just got up, couple hours taking calls, 30 min walk, shower, Maudie's Tex-Mex for lunch and then head to the clinic till 11p.

When I was growing up. My grandmother lived across the river from Hillman Barge on the Mon River. I used to watch the launches all the time. What was fun. Was watching the workers launching O2 bottles into the river like torpedos. They would lay the bottles down on the ground. Then whack the valve off with a sledgehammer. :rofl2:
