Chunked another TPMS sensor on the left rear. I am so tired of the stupid bands they mount to. They always break. Just had the right front redone.

Took a nice long siesta when I got home today; supposed to be getting some rain over the weekend...gonna make that grass really grow :wtf2:

I don't even see a reason to bother with TPMS. It's not like they're worth a damn. Well, about as much as the low oil pressure dash light  Just pay attention to your PSI and the weather. I notice my tires low way before TPMS ever bothered to notify me. Unless the stupid things were malfunctioning and then it was just an annoyance :shakes head:

So an Iraq/Afghanistan marine veteran high school buddy of mine is having a tough go of things the past decade or so. I've been in touch but it's tough to encourage him to get out. We play disc golf occasionally. He's going to take care of my lawn going forward. Semi-regular work that he can rely on for some smokes and gas money. At least I can finally do something for the guy. It's really sad how the VA treats him :(

I test drove a couple back in March :ugh:
And some local TX ones in the last 8 months :driving:

My own? Umm..... I'm thinking it's been about a year now. Second time it's sat for over a year in the last three :wtf2:

Don't worry. I'm going to make up for it. Next real outing will be at the track. Already have four tentative dates scheduled with the track (trying to coordinate friends' schedules - yes it's 9 months in advance lol).

I know how your buddy feels. I hate the VA with a passion. I had to fight for 3 years with them to get my right knee covered. I called it my weekly conference call. I finally got it done. When I got out of the service in 1993 I had just had my left knee ACL replaced. That was the first of July. I got out at the end of August. Did I hear a peep out of the VA, Noop. Not one word. I did all my rehab on my own.
