So the Ford focus beater is coming to end of life. Buddy is selling a 2014 Civic Lx with 64k on it for $7,800. Front passenger side fender and both doors were replaced from a deer side swiping it a few months ago. Car is clean, but just rather boring and weightless to drive. I think I might just pull the trigger.

First piece of art to hang on the garage walls. It has special meaning to EW as his lost love, B.S., sent him a treasure to remember her by.

Morning all! Back from Maine, had a great time with the family but it was hot as balls on the island (and there is no electric, so no real relief from it except in the water).

Bustin's Island is a bit of a throwback. Little or no electricity depending on the cottage (some have a bit of solar power). Old hand pumps are the typical source of water. Gas refrigerators. Most cottages are 100+ years old, with no insulation or plaster, so they creak at every step.

Almost needless to say, in a cottage with 3 children under 4 years old, it was noisy and I didn't get much sleep. Otherwise it was really good to visit again, I haven't been there in 7 years.

I would imagine that those could be the “scratch and sniff” variety.... So just beware of the happy EW...
