I always park way in back of lot.Not unusual to find people by the car.

Prius guy jumps my ***.How can you drive those old polluters. You people that drive those old cars. Those cars should all be banded.

My Prius gets Blah,Blah miles per gallon.

I explained how his hybrid also uses electrical generation from coal fired power plants.

This guy was just a Zealot.Thought he was saving the world.

59 gets about 9mpg around town.

The Z gets about 10mpg around town. The Z is tuned on 96 octane which I keep a barrel of at home.

I like cars that have some HP.

Prius would be a good every day commuter.

Whenever Prius owners get uppity I tell them that increased demand for electric cars has caused a massive surge in slave labor and human trafficking to mine the metals for their batteries.

If that doesnt work I tell 'em that our fallen world deserves to die. Havent seen anyone cogently respond to that one lol

Got up early and started on the last couple batts of insulation for the garage walls. I gotta figure out how I am going to do this ceiling.

Thanks for the hospitality Russ. It was great seeing you and the Mrs again.

We made it to Carlisle. The car is everything he said and then some. It will need an alignment but that's minor. The trans is fine, shifted good cold and smooth as butter after getting warmed up. Brandon and Keith are off doing paperwork and I'm going to start on this pile of parts.

I get to spin the tires in it before he did :driving:

She wanted 2016 Ford Edge.
I talked her into 2013 Lexus RX 350 with low miles. Not the most stylish thing.
Should work well for her.
In the long run this should out last the Ford.
Have had good luck with Toyota products.
My Tundra work truck has 210,000 miles on it and runs great.

All the suvs this size look the same.

Got to drive this some.I'm impressed with Lexus.Toyota put a lot of thought into this.Car has so many small touches that makes me wonder why other manufactures did not think of that.

Quite, smooth ride, comfortable.Even rear seats recline.
Has every bell and whistle. We will see if this an issue in the future.

Did take me 10 minutes to figure out how to set seat adjustment and use AC.

Owners manual is literally 2 inches thick.Adjusted the speed of her mouse controller for her. That is something I have never done on car before.

Steep learning curve for Girlfriend to figure out all the features. She is a smart well educated woman.

In my area (So Cal) there are a ton of Prius owners. Since they feel like they're doing their part in saving the world that it gives them the right to drive like azzholes.

Beards against dress code at current company.I decided to grow a beard again.
What are they going to do .Fire me.

Beard was jet black 20 years ago.Now white with a little grey.

Who is that old guy that looks back at me in Mirror.

When the DoD got finished with me and let me go. My hair was on my shoulders, and a beard down past my nipples. That lasted until I started to work for a couple of fab shops and trimmed everything up. Started to work for Elliott and the hair got short and the beard became a go-tee. Started to shave the head later on. Lack of hair. :shakes head: Started working for Duke energy and no facial hair what so ever because of having to train and wear face masks for Hazmat. Retirement and the go-tee came back. :rofl2:
