2nd day of the new routine, so far so good. In work by 7:15 am, I'll be out again before 4 pm, and with a large mostly uninterrupted block of time for projects this evening. Of course, I'll also be crashing by 9, so that's a big down side. A lot could be solved by working closer to home...

When to dinner last night with 2 of the guys and their wifes I used to work with from the plant. They retired after I did. We was catching up on old times. Glad I retired when I did. The new company that took over is running the plant into the ground and pissin' everyone off. Everyone there is looking for new jobs. :shakes head: Top rate is over $50 an hr now. But they cut the benefits. If I was still working there. I would be in jail for choking the livin' chit out of the ops manager and one control room operator. Back stabbing SOB's.

Good pay makes up for a lot, but only in the short term.
