The deck looks great ! On a flat roof deck is there a pitch on it for rain ?
Is that over your garage ?

Tender as could be but normally I let it marinate over night, so the flavor wasn’t my normal.

It still made a turd though!

What goes in, must come out. But it's not quite the same. :rofl2:

Thanks! The roof deck is actually pitched for rain. I cut 2x8s at an angle to remove the pitch for the deck itself. The spacing on the planks allows rain to fall through and be guided off the pitched roof below. Deck is Timbertech Azek, rail is the same stuff. I look forward to many years of never maintaining it.

Edit: It's over my back room (my gym). The second building you can see part of in the left of the photo is my garage.

Z1 normally got what you need. A lighter wallet.

Rusty 05-13-2019 11:35 AM

Yinz might be reading about me in the police report tomorrow. Want to bury a few people, after I run them through the wood chipper. :shakes head:

Fast Intentions products are top shelf, for sure. Z1 products are definitely NOT high quality IMNSHO. Z1 is too budget conscious with their products.

And Z1 makes it clear by their pricing that they are trying to make as much money as possible when selling other manufacturers' products

eastwest2300 05-13-2019 11:53 AM

Its usually the shipping that irks me the most with Z1.. :ugh:

Joe told me the same thing. Shipping to my work address is $45 compared to over $80 to the house.

bunk 05-13-2019 12:18 PM

What sucks, is that I bought something from them, decided I wanted to EXCHANGE it for another item... they wanted me to pay for return shipping AND restocking fee. Thats not a way to keep customers happy.

My CSCEK cylinder failed within a couple of weeks of install. Apparently it was an early version. When I notified them of the issue, they told me there was a newer version of the cylinder available. Then tried to charge me $59 for it plus shipping and wanted me to send my old failed one back first on my own dime :shakes head:

The cylinder failed on me two more times and every time they sent me a new one it was a different design. Kind of annoying that I replaced a working OEM CSC at 51K miles and then had the aftermarket slave cylinder fail on me 3 times in the next 30K miles. Not to mention some other parts on the kit that kept breaking that I either fixed with non-Z1 part or finally just stopped replacing. Z1 is basically dead to me.
