I guess that I was having such a great time hauling in those bass; must have used muscles that haven’t worked in a while :wtf2:

Didn’t happen unless you produce pics of the catch.

Got cull some of them. My bestfriend’s uncle had two stocked ponds when we were growing up. They never pulled any fish out of them. Got to the point that they never got any bigger and then eventually everything started dying off. They finally sold the place 7-8 years ago and I went and fished it the day they loaded up the Uhaul. It was said to see how much it had gone down hill over the decades.

Bunch of boy and young adult memories were made there.

What were you using to catch the fish? Lures, minnows, or what?

I've got a 1/4ac stocked pond in my yard. It has a really good balance of fish including largemouth bass, perch, blue gills & the grand daddy's 8 channel cats !

I still get the biggest thrill feeding them.
To catch anything, I'll float a hooked worm on a 12" drop with a bobber and Bam fish on:icon17:

Saturday night we got 3.25" of rain and then last night we got 1.5" and believe or not the ground sucked it up with very little to no runoff....... haven't had any rain here at the house since July 28th. Been quite dry around here

Morning all! Had a great weekend. Shady Maple buffet Friday night, bbq with some good friends Saturday, dinner with the family on Sunday.

Not so good, the stator on my riding mower went, and the rain + sun here lately have made the grass grow like crazy. So far it's taken me about 7 hours using the push mower, and I'm still not done. (Tried to pull the flywheel to get at the stator, and broke the flywheel pulling tool in the process - lame!)

Put a brass hammer or a solid piece of brass on the shaft ( after you remove the nut ) of the flywheel and hit it with 3lb. sledge ..... should solve that problem

We could use some rain. I got cracks in the ground. :shakes head: But my raised bed garden is doing great.

Ian B 08-19-2019 09:19 AM

Another scorcher here in Austin today. Ugh!!

Leingod 08-19-2019 09:21 AM

And it's flooding here. We got 3.2 inches of rain yesterday within the span of an hour.

:hello::hello::hello:

Went to the Amana colonies this weekend. If you ever go, the only one you need to see is Amana, the rest have cool old buildings, and not much else. The Amana/Whirlpool plant is in Middle Amana and it's really odd to see a modern plant in the middle of all the old buildings. :icon14:

Amana has the wineries and shops. We came home with 9 bottles of wine and 2 growlers of soda, one cream soda and one root beer. :rofl2::rofl2: The growlers we left with the grandkids in Platte City.:tup:

Wow, that's to the point where the catch basins can't swallow it up fast enough.

Welp... looks like my ZDayZ registration package went missing and never got shipped. Michelle offered a refund, but I told her I was happy to donate to the cause. Turns out she has some extra ZDayZ discs lying around she is willing to send me. Pretty sweet considering I was regretting not getting the disc golf package after I had registered

i'm currently struggling with buying an exhaust.

guy selling a $3000 for 1800 barely used exact one i want.

i'm here thinking this is the door that opens pandora's box of modding and money.

idk what to do. i could just leave it alone and stay stealth mode.

Yeah, it was for the nuke side. I got a job alert on it. I thought about it, but at my age. Didn't think I wanted to glow in the dark any more. Don't want to scare the wifey.
