Well the fellow from Colorado that is buying our house the end of August, arrived with his giant pickup camper towing a bass boat. Left the camper and boat in the front yard and said he would be back in two weeks with more stuff...

It is fortunate for him that we are so flexible. Not everyone would have the ability to be so adaptable, but my main focus is to make it happen

Family fare has more than enough for you to buy some too.

I have a feeling that food is gonna make me pass right out. They gonna find me drooling on my keyboard in the morning.

When the youngest stepson bought his ranch. The old owner needed to leave some things behind until they got settled in their new home. A grand piano, and a shed packed full of stuff. It's been a year and the stuff is still there. The stepson is trying to buy the rest of the ranch. So the stuff can stay until the sale is over. Then the stepson is giving them 30 days to get the stuff out. The grand piano is sitting in his living room right now.

I need to change my diet. I'm so full of Mexican food on this trip. Chinese sounds good right now. Had Mexican for breakfast, Mexican for lunch, Mexican for dinner. :icon14: Starting to think I is Mexican. :icon14:

May I suggest a secondary focus of stenciling hundreds of tiny dicks on the bass boat's deck - with glow-in-the-dark paint.

Soliciting suggestions for the name of my upcoming road trip to every state north of Arizona and west of the Mississippi River, which begins in 11 hours. Prior jaunts past 90*West longitude bore proud titles such as "Arizonapocalypse", "Memorial Day Mormon Mayhem 2016", "Meth-tana", and "Wake Up Woman, Passenger Seat Ain't No Union Job."

I'm not complaining but that 55° air temp was a bit of a shock this morning.

So the Ford focus beater is coming to end of life. Buddy is selling a 2014 Civic Lx with 64k on it for $7,800. Front passenger side fender and both doors were replaced from a deer side swiping it a few months ago. Car is clean, but just rather boring and weightless to drive. I think I might just pull the trigger.

First piece of art to hang on the garage walls. It has special meaning to EW as his lost love, B.S., sent him a treasure to remember her by.

Morning all! Back from Maine, had a great time with the family but it was hot as balls on the island (and there is no electric, so no real relief from it except in the water).

Bustin's Island is a bit of a throwback. Little or no electricity depending on the cottage (some have a bit of solar power). Old hand pumps are the typical source of water. Gas refrigerators. Most cottages are 100+ years old, with no insulation or plaster, so they creak at every step.

Almost needless to say, in a cottage with 3 children under 4 years old, it was noisy and I didn't get much sleep. Otherwise it was really good to visit again, I haven't been there in 7 years.
