Wow... surprised the Passport doesn't get better mpg than that. My Hemi 5.7 4x4 gets 12 on the low end. up to 18 / 19 hwy.

Its a 2001 so shes showing her age now.I could show 1/4 tank and do some errands with 2 or 3 stops locally and the low fuel indicator would turn on by the time i get home!

I think I paid $2.69 for 89, which is the mid grade I ran in the truck. All the forums say that 5.3L GM V8 likes 89 better than 87. 93, which I run in the G and the wife’s Lexus, is $2.79ish.

Haven’t decided what grade I’m going to run in the new truck. Need to do some googling.

93 is 3.79 a gallon here. I just pay it and move on. I fill up twice a week to go back and forth to work. 104 miles a day at the min. I get 3 days out of a tank of gas. LOL

If you want to freak out. Get a diesel and do some heavy towing. Stopping ever 200 to 250 miles for fuel. 75 bucks a pop. That adds up quick. You will learn to keep you foot out of it or else pay the fuel man. LOL

Haha! Shell 91 has no ethanol it, hence why I go for it. Esso here in Toronto has 93 octane but it has ethanol in it so it's a no go for me. Heck, Petro Canada has 94 and that has ethanol in it too, again a no go for me.

Move? From Toronto? Never. I love the overpriced housing, crappy politicians, pot hole filled streets and of course our vibrant SJW scene. :icon17:

My Power Wagon gets 10. My Grand Cherokee gets 19. Both with the 5.7.

The motor home is a 6.7 Cummins. Weights 41,000 lbs. I get 8 mpg. Filling up a 10 gallon tank is no fun.

Well the Power Wagon doesn't have the MSD, plus it weighs over 7,000 lbs. Add the other stuff I have. I'm looking close to 8,000 lbs. The Jeep has the MSD. I get 23 mpg on a trip with it.

I typed in 100 gallon, and it comes out as 10 gallon. :wtf: That what happens when I use my phone.

I normally fill the motor home up at around 1/4 tank. That's about 75 gallons of diesel at about 3.50gallon. Last time it cost me about $270.00 to fill it.

I have a 55 gallon drum of gas behind the shed that I use for my gas powered tools.
