GT-R tax ain't got nothin' on the folks in Cali... it won't be long before you'll be paying a tax to breathe....:icon14::icon14:

Found this old snippet from Kenchan regarding oil consumption. Now I'm wondering if I should leave it or drain it down and see if it burns oil.

kenchan
cell- not sure in your case but on both my G and Z's VQ's when new, i set oil level to about 3/4 up between the two dots on the dipstick. if i fill all the way to the top dot the oil burns.. i can actually faintly smell burning oil after a drive. i dont know why this is.

anyway, on my G after about 10-12K miles i could fill to the very top without burning oil. my Z is at 8300 miles and still burns oil if i fill to the top dot... not worried though.

I don't miss anything about living in that state... except the weather, and landscape, and the surfing. Otherwise, nothing. :ugh2:

Brother in-law said that he just paid $5.00 for a gallon of gas in Denver. I don't know how true that is.

They're going to tax you when you are born, and tax you when you die. And in between. :shakes head: They are going to squeeze you hard and often.

Theres a few conservative judges in line for the 9th circuit. Itll be interesting to see how this all pans out. One already ruled the 30rd mag ban as unconstitutional, but the CA AG motioned a stay on that lift. Itll go to the SC. Slowly but surely....hopefully.

Thats all Im gonna say.... :drama:

i'm currently at 75500 miles and i really dont think my Z burns oil at all. if so it's a small amount which i assume any car will burn over time. and add in that i pretty much change oil every spring and was putting 10k a year on the car and that oil lol
