I know a breakfast place in Michigan that puts 1.5 lbs of bacon on each plate...
And the omelets are 12 egg omelets... Not kidding... |

Most places that make a large omelette use 6,,,sad part about the 12 ~ I’d probably still eat it all :wtf2: |
Going to pour up a large mug of LeftCoast coffee ... picked up some Starbucks last week :ugh2:

I think that Big Sharon and her bridal party (aka: "The Herd"...) went to some type of bridal show this weekend to try to finalize some details...
I asked last night if any decisions were made. She said the only thing she determined was what she wanted the groom and his groomsmen to wear at the reception... |
It’s 58* outside this morning-going up to 70...Also seen the pine tree pollen flying yesterday :ugh2:

Says “Hardwood” on my thick cut Black Label bacon :icon17:

Good morning folks!:hello:

I am dragging today. Brain wouldn't shut off last night, so I wound up lying there staring blankly instead of sleeping. Daylight savings time always impacts me strangely.

where's all the IT nerds at in here?
dropping comcast finally and switching to gigabit fiber. need some suggestions on good gaming routers that can actually use the 1000mbps speed that i will now have. xbox will be hard wired and phone/laptop will be wifi. was trying to stay like $300 as my ceiling but not a total deal breaker if over. |

 :bowrofl: |
If you're hardwired, pretty much any gigabit router will be able to take full advantage of your new WAN speed. But it will be mostly maxed out. Other activity on the LAN will likely compromise speed.

so there should be nothing drawing speed away from it. everything else will be wifi which pretty much is only my phone and a laptop. |
My first wife said I was "hardwired"...
|
last 24 hours now....this place is useless. no help on my Z issue and just Jar being funny on router suggestions.
you guys are losing your touch :shakes head: need to step you game up gentlemen this isnt a FB group. |

I have gigafiber and it never delivers 1000mbps. It all depends on how close to the box you are. My old townhouse I was literally 50yards from the box and I’d get 800mbps+ hardwired and 6-700mbps WiFi. The new house we are probably 3-4X that far and I get 3-350mbps WiFi. Haven’t confirmed hardwired because I don’t have a direct port open to plug the laptop into. |

i usually spend the majority of my time in the living room where the router will be and my house isn't massive so range isn't a major concern. i've been fine running on 150-250mbps internet but i just want to get the most out of speed since i'm paying for it lol here's 2 i'm looking at still searching for other options. reading reviews and whatnot as well. https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Night...language=en_US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0167HG1V6?ref=emc_p_m_5_i |

Not the box in your house. The one in the neighborhood where the signal comes from. |
Quote:
also, thats a good question idk where the box is. i'll have to ask. |
