I put the downpayment on the Z on my Southwest card. Paid it off as soon as it the charge cleared. Easy points.

see if i had a SW card i would. my card is just through my bank. i've been tempted to branch out to have more but i really dont want extra ones. too tempting especially with GTR parts on the brain.

I buy everything through CC and pay it off immediately. It's between 1 and 3% back on everything, plus occasional deals (5% on my recent AirBnB booking). If you have the money to pay it off immediately, it's just a free bonus. I get a few hundred back per year.

Yeah, if you dont get points, no sense. However, Ive heard of people with extremely low interest rates buy a house with their credit cards, when their CC cards carry a lower interest rate than what they were offered for a home loan.

Same here. I have so many damn SW points that I decided to get an Amex card with 1-3% cash back on everything. My SW flight to ZDayZ cost less than 1/10 of my total reward points.

And while you have your bank on the phone, ask them to lower your interest rate. More than likely, they will.

Wednesday is a great day to fly. Hardly any lines to wait in. Zipped right through the TSA line. They did asked about my left foot if it has metal in it. First time I was asked that.

Just picked up a Stihl MS362 chainsaw. Have a ton of trees on my property that will require removal. This should help.
