Spoiler 05-05-2019 07:10 PM

Just back from an electrical wiring repair on my neighbors dock. Turns out that one of two circuits I ran out there 4 years ago, no longer worked. After a couple of checks with my meter and quizzing him down as to what he had already done himself to troubleshoot the problem, I found a GFI hooked up backwards and then a ceiling fan shorted out... He claimed he hooked up the GFI just as it was previously wired. LOL.... I know better... Anyhow I got him fixed up and charged him 2 beers... :p

I really should have been an electrician... I like wiring up stuff...

Yep. Some places you have to have it because of the building code.

The driveway looks steep enough to go snow boarding. :icon14:

I broke 2 ribs because of a broken ratchet. Was installing a header on my first wife's '88 Inline 6 Jeep Cherokee. Installing the last couple of nuts on the header. I was leaning over from the front of the Jeep reaching to the firewall. Tightening up the nut on the very end when the ratchet broke. With the sudden release in pressure. My body dropped about 3" into the radiator cap. I laid on the garage floor for an hour before I could move again. :shakes head: This was on a Sunday, and the wife needed the Jeep for work on Monday. I still had about 3 hours worth of work to do. I did finish it that day. Paid the price for it too. :shakes head:

Yea, if it's free rent. You would have to park his cars in your garage tho.

You sure it is not this that is in your signature?

Most of what I post here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything I post here as fact.

I got hit in the back of the head when some hood struts let go at work at the dealer. I felt funky for a week. Guess I had a concussion. LOL From then on out I install my hood strut lock on everything.

BettyZ 05-05-2019 10:12 PM

Was pulling, with a decent amount of force, on a recalcitrant dipstick tube, at an angle lining up with my scalp. Have a pic of the aftermath but dont want some of the more sensitive people here to lose their breakfast in the AM lol
