We lived on Lake michigan during the summer months when I was growing up. We would lay out on the beach at all times of the night and see some wacky crazy moving lights up there.

Ghost Story
 

I have a ghost story.Never believed in ghosts until the moment this happened.Doing some contract work for Army.In an old hospital building that is all boarded up with no electricity.

This place was first used in the 1800s. I have this big 1,000,000 candle power light I'm using.

I'm walking through basement as I'm coming back all of a sudden there is this overpowering smell of rubbing alcohol.I hear what sounds like two people walking on the stone floor.I holler out that I'm working over here.As I turn to see who it is two soldiers dressed like from the 1800's walk right by me.As i look at them they just fade out to nothing right in front of me.The smell of the rubbing alcohol goes away instantly.I just about **** myself.

When I came out of there some of the Army guys looked at how disheveled I was.
Turns out most will not go in the building and this has happened to others.


Latter I get this plaque from the Army unit for outstanding service.I have it on my desk at work.

I work in a hospital and I've never had anything weird happen to me there. Loads of people died there. Figure that place should be kicking it with spirits trying to mess with me but nothing.

They added a new section at the Hospital (I do work next door in the MOB) that is in use now, but the old section where they keep the dead people, theres always weird noises there. Sometimes Ill go to the hospital for lunch and when we walk by the dead people area, this girl I go to lunch with is always wanting to go through the door to see how many people died that day... no thanks!

My office is literally 40 ft away from the morgue. When they call the code they wheel em right on by my door.
Our freezer is pretty secure with badge access only, cameras and security guards only allowed to release bodies.

As long as they didnt die from infectious disease, it would only bother me just a litte working there at night!

I wish all my coworkers acted like the ones in the morgue! I could get a lot more **** done :rofl2:

Doesnt bother me one bit. They are quiet, leave me alone and the best part, they dont call in service tickets and make me work! :icon17:

Going through some pictures for the funeral Friday. Found me "helping" fix the truck. :icon17: This was before I graduated to getting yelled at for holding the light in the wrong spot. :rofl2:

Mine is in the higher ranges. Most of it is from turbine whine, and rotating equipment.

The chart is “Greek” to me, but she circled on another sheet conversation level & mine was a bit out of wack :icon14:
She asked about the tinitist while I had them in & it didn’t seem as noticeable/ as I could hear much better :ugh2:
