The owner of the house we wanted took another offer, so now we move on to our next choice.

It's the same floor plan as the other. Con is it doesn't have hardwood floors throughout (which we can do later). Pro is it has an unfinished basement potentially raising the living space from 2900sf to 4500sf.

BoneZ 01-11-2019 08:43 PM

I dig it, but I really liked the wood.

I’m not a huge fan of hardwoods. They looks nice but they scratch. We have that plank tile that looks like hardwood.

When we were building our home (prior to backing out), we wanted that tile so bad! It's gorgeous.

That’s just an sae fine thread bolt,,,heck...you can get any type cap screw you’d like  Allen,12pt.,etc....I’d probably put stainless in/ unless you want something with a magnet.
I’ve made quite a few hex 3/4x16 drain plugs in my day :ugh2:

It took a little getting used to, it’s a hard surface, but it is nice with a toddler cuz messes just wipe up. We have it throughout the common area and I really wish we’d of broken it up with carpet in the hallways. Everything echos, kinda draw back with a toddler.

But it definitely looks good.

I had to order it, because no one in my area has anything in the 9/16-18 thread.

Our Napa Wareshouse down here has a few; actually a Dorman plug.....not an inverted hex or magnetic, looking like a thin headed hex.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1ab5fd08e5.jpg

Just Curious how much the owner was asking for that house?
Very nice.

I'm older than I am. Premature senior moment. I had to go back to remember what we were talking about. Same result I reckon.
