Within reason; you see the available chart.....You need to determine if you are going to lower your suspension any or keep everything as is.
Will make a difference on wheel offsets |

Hour job turned into 5 hours. Removed the old pads and rotors on the PowerWagon. Took the rotors to get turned. That was over an hours. Rick just wanted to BS the whole time he was cutting my rotors. :shakes head: Come home and get ready to install the rotors. Took my air hose and blew the junk out from the rotors and around the e-brake shoes. Ended up blowing the brake material off of the metal shoe. The bonding that holds the material to the shoe had released. :shakes head: Now have to go to NAPA and get new e-brakes. :shakes head: Come home and start to put things back together. Left side first. E-brake shoes on. That was a bitch. Rotor on, new pads in place. Push the 2 pistons back in the caliper. Heard a pop on the right side. Had pushed a piston out on the right side caliper. Go to install the left caliper. Come to find out that the slides are sticking. So...I fixed them. Left side finished.
Start on the right side. Fixed the slides first. Install the e-brake shoes. Manage to push the popped out piston back in the caliper with no trouble. Dodged a bullet on that. Finish this side. Next time for rear brakes. I'll need new rotors, and all the hardware. |

My second '78 TranAm was a WS6 240hp with a stick. No T tops. Red with a black interior. It was one of the first ones with the 4 wheel disc brakes. Went through 4 motors, 3 trannies, and 2 rear ends. The last motor in it was a cheby LS7 crate motor. |

Watch out for your rear calipers sticking and brakes smoking. Common Dodge issue. I just bought new calipers when I did mine along with new rotors. Rear Brakes, 130k miles before any brake work. The fronts went to 155k. New Rotors, Pads, and calipers. All good. I tow too heavy to even consider turning the rotors. Need all the heat sink I can get. |
Dallas won a playoff game :icon17:
