also, i agree that the intercooler should not be full of slag like that.

Would you mind expanding on the oil line issues? Exactly what has been wrong with the lines? I would rather fix now while it is in the shop.

issues with the oil feed lines to the turbos resulting in smoking turbos or burning them up from being dry.

there's some better info in the forced induction section with actual examples.

found one.

Don’t think flying to Houston and getting blackout drunk are mutually exclusive.

As I understand it, based on the design of the kit, at idle, and likely low rpms, there isn’t enough head pressure from the turbos to return oil to the oil pan, therefore; oil collects and leaks past the seals causing it to smoke.

Edit - I just read that post. That appears to be a different issue than my tuner was having with those kits.

There’s always between 12-15 bottles of whiskey at my house at any given time.

yea thats an issue for sure but ive read others with more than just one oil issue. its a flawed kit in general. also thats partially the turbos restricting oil as well from what i've read.

Oh and my birthday is Saturday. To help with your shopping, I like, in no particular order:

- Whiskey (Sweet Bourbons, Irish And Some Canadian Whiskeys)
- Guns
- Car Parts
- Electronics
- Gift cards always work

How do they get slag when welding aluminum? Should be zero slag when welding. Aluminum welding doesn't produce slag.
