We have LMB here. My local go to lake before they closed used to have "wipers", a cross between Stripers and White bass, those were fun to catch.

Stripers are fun. Go to Lake Powell in Utah. Ever see a feeding boil? Looks like the water is boiling. Just throw your hook in it with anchovies on it. You'll get tired of reeling them in. :rofl2:

Yup, we have stripers here too.. i like to troll for them. Shoot, I like to troll period. Nothing like motoring around with a couple lines in tow, then BAM!! Drag starts screaming! I have a Colorado XT inflatable pontoon boat. Put a swivel mount under the seat, make a few rod holders that mount to the sides of the battery basket, and throw on a trolling motor.

Ran into many small mouth boils on lake St. Clair and all we had to is toss a crack bait in the middle and BAM fish on! Small mouth run a little smaller than large mouth but the fight is better, they come out of the water about 60% of the time
