Before. I throw it up on ebay. Would anyone want a 2009 iMac? 20inch model. $100 and whatever shipping would be. It would come with a generic wireless mouse and a used keyboard that I could dig out of my storage. Haha.

That’s cheap if it works; mine is a 10 or 11 w/22.5” screen...disc’s load in the right side.
Wireless keyboard, mouse & magic track pad.
Still working great, fo no more than what I do with it

That's about the going rate for a functional 20". I've sold some that needed hard drives for less. We have to pull the drives and destroy them since they had patient data on them.

I threw it on Craigslist last night for $200 just for the heck of it. Wouldn't surprise me around here if someone saw an iMac for that price and thought it was the deal of the century. I am slightly annoyed that I need to buy new installation disc's since the machine is so old that it doesn't come with recovery partitions for me to wipe it completely.

He took a failing company and turned it into a success, generating truly substantial revenue and obscene profit margins, and he's smart enough to value the personnel that really make him successful. He's the first CEO I've met where I truly respected him.

Sounds like a real leader. Just be honest without the BS. They can smell that a mile away. Tell em how you'll make lemonade out of lemons without breaking the bank! ! For some reason, CEOs dont like to spend money....and good luck!

I had enough of the 18+ hour days and the 'day on, stay on' while I was on active duty. :rofl2:

I spent 7 years at Garmin in their customer repair section. I worked on a little bit of everything from avionics to handheld units. We were 'graded' on how much we put out daily, weekly & monthly. I put more units out, with less than a 5% 'second return' rate, than the next 3 techs.:eek: and I STILL caught hell because I wouldn't volunteer to work overtime....:shakes head::shakes head:

The current job won't pay overtime, so when I travel, it gets really interesting. There have been a couple of trips that I hit 40 hours before I got home...:owned:

When I was younger, I worked as a repair technician for a major Adult Toy company for about a year and half. I had to manage the warranty return desk. So I know what you mean about it getting kinda hairy at times... :icon14:

Amazing. Every area around me has been having warm temps and snow melting like crazy. The GF's house 20 miles away has grass showing. My city has 3 feet of snow still with a winter storm warning beginning tonight and going into Wednesday morning. 12-18 inches of snow by Tuesday afternoon followed directly by sleet into ice by Wed morning. Lovely....

There is no happy monday when my car is sitting in the garage on the battery tender and it is 20 degrees outside.

And my Chevy 1500 4wd broke, but the tractor still works and has a heated cab.
The last big snow was 5.8 mi of plowing and 2.5hrs and that was just my property. Sick of it.
