That burnt crispy fat on the edges is the best part of a Ribeye! :yum:

Morning guys. Rainy here. Heading back home in a few hours. May try to run to the Lego store beforehand. Going to hunt down some pastries and coffee first though.

At my old company, the CTO took us all out to a steak house for lunch. This place was known for their Prime Rib. Being in california, people were trimming off the fat that came with their steak. My buddy was going around asking if he could have the fat that they didnt want. Its where the flavor is at! lol

Leingod 02-24-2019 08:12 AM

Reserve all the fat! Then throw it in a crock pot for 8 hrs and melt it down. Chill it overnight and you have tarrow to use for the next 3 months! It also helps keep my cast iron seasoned perfectly and gives green food a good kick of meat flavor.

Chilly morning, but the sun is out. Gonna give the Z a proper wash and finally get those little dots scrubbed off the new tires.

I can barely walk and chew gum at the same time. Riding a board on moving water is not going to happen. I cannot ski nor snowboard either. Pretty much anything that takes good balance will cause me to break my neck.

Air travel today sucks.I fly once a month to corperate.Being ancient:I remember flying in the 70s.
More leg room, wider seats, meals, drinks and smokeing. What I took for granted in those days now seems like I was on the Orient Express.

Used to fly in some of those little turbo-prop, puddle jumper commuters. :barf:

When I was fling for Elliott. I never got any miles. All of my travel was though the company. They scheduled everything. If I needed to go something on company time. I had to call the travel desk. And they would make all of the travel arrangements. When I first started to travel with them. All of my flights was first class. :happydance: Then the last couple years with them was in Ecom. :wtf:

Man..............is it windy. Steady 20 mph wind with gust to 60 mph. The temp was 64F about 2 hrs ago. Now it's 40F. Power and internet been out a couple of time already today. :shakes head:

Have 2 wind speed indicators. One on the chimney, and the other on the flag pole in the backyard. The one on the chimney is reading a steady 20 mph with gustd to 60 mph. The one on the flag pole is reading a steady 20 mph with gusts to 45 mph. The shape of the roof makes that much difference.

An hour out from home and I get an emergency text showing 10-15inches over the course of tomorrow for a blizzard heading out way. Freaking amazing. I left NYC and it was 46F out. 4 hours north and I'll have 8 feet of snow on the ground with no end in sight.
