Im having second thoughts on my caliper paint selection. I chose this: https://www.carid.com/vht/high-tempe...mpn-sp736.html
My exhaust has burnt tips. Not a good visual...burnt tips + grayish car/wheels + gold calipers? thoughts?

Morning all, roofer coming out to give an estimate, so working from home today. Looking forward to not having to do my own roof.

Did the recent weather mess up your roof?

No, it's a 20 year old roof that wasn't done particularly well to begin with. From scoping the underside of the attic, it looks to me like they didn't use tar paper, so we've had a little bit of dripping for the 2 years I've lived here, mostly during heavy storms. Just one of the items on the list to take care of.

FPenvy 02-08-2019 07:39 AM

good morning gents :hello:

Rain past through around 5am. Temps went from 58F down to 34F once the rain past and we have 20 mph winds.

i replace our roof about 4 years ago with a metal roof. It's not the metal roof you are used to seeing. Mine is 1'x2' interlocking peices that look like tile. Good for 200 mph wind.

Is it warm enough to take out the GTR this weekend?

bunk 02-08-2019 08:07 AM

If I had a GTR, you can bet it will have a very low resale value after I get done with it...lol

It's 5* here.....

Where's the little bastard that left the AC on? :shakes head::shakes head::shakes head::shakes head:

Given your ride's color, dark orange, yellow, black, red, blue,... would all look great... just depends on how rad you want to get with it. I would have never assumed orange would look all that great until I saw it on a gunmetal grey Audi... looked killer!

If you're ok with 15*, we could use the 10 degrees of cooling down here today. Deal?

........seriously? lol

it was 64 yesterday and it'll 0 tomorrow morning.

also, the temp isnt really the main factor for me. it's the massive amount of salt and cinders that are on the road.

wow! from 64 to 0? Thats crazy! Yeah, I forgot about the salt on the roads. That makes you want to have a beater car just for that reason.

Today's high is 78... so nothing to complain about. I'd just like it to always be in the high 60s. I guess I'm being unreasonable (so I've been told multiple times)??? :ugh2:

All that stuff got washed off the roads last night. The creeks around here are flooded.
