Law enforcement is racist, now with data
 

20 million traffic-stops show:
- Blacks are twice as likely to be pulled over as whites
- Blacks are more likely to be searched following a traffic stop
- Whites are more likely to be found with contraband

What do the police think?
- The police issued a 100-page report stating why the data is flawed
- A bill was introduced to stop collecting the data (guilty much?)

Man as a black man in America I can say that I have been profiled but by more officers of colored heritage. Believe it or not I've been released for stronger violations by Caucasians rather than Latino or African descendant police. I was tailgating a sheriff once intoxicated (open alcohol and obviously buzzed) when I was younger and he made me stand outside in December for 20 mins while he wrote my ticket. He let ne off easy. Maybe times are a bit different but I wanted to express my own personal experience.
