I moved all the tables, cabinets and tool boxes in the garage this morning. Was freaking drenched in sweat.

The wife and I epoxied the garage floor when we moved in. It was March but still sweated my *** off. Looks awesome but I’d never do it myself again.

Typical Texas. I call it the curse of the Longhorn Network.

The prep work can be brutal on that stuff. We had it done on the attached garage and it had lifted, twice. They ended up having to grind the entire floor and redo it. Currently I am looking at racedeck type tiles. They have a wood grain tile now that looks pretty cool.

I want to do a home depot floor, polished concrete and sealer.

We had to end paying a professional to come in and grind the floor before we applied the epoxy. The etching solution that was provided with the kit didn’t do ****.

It’s not perfect and I would do a lot better if I had to do another one but it works for us. Did it for $900 instead of $2,200.
